Project Scope: The proposed system consists of two Multifeeder Technology MFT 350 Industrial Performance ED Friction Feeder with 200mm (7.87”) extended discharge to tip CR80 and other products up to 300mm (11.81”) wide onto base carriers on your existing Ga-Vehren conveyor at a rate of up to 450 per minute. The feeder will be straddle mounted over the existing conveyor by the customer and will gently separate the cards onto the feeder discharge. The existing Ga-Vehren system will feed a base card and a glue system will apply glue to the card. The MFT 350 Friction feeder will tip products up to 300mm (11.81”) into the pinch point of a customer supplied Pressure Roller Assembly to assure proper placement of the product onto the spot glued surface. A customer supplied Keyence Laser Sensor will be used to signal the feeder to feed. The MFT 350 will be equipped with Continuous Motion Accutipping controls that uses an encoder to monitor the speed of the base machine. The computer timing compenation package of the feeder will change the speed and timing of the feeder to be certain that the products are placed correctly on the spot glued surface regardless of the speed of the base machine. Continuous Motion Accutipping also includes Card Line Software as a part of its software package. Left and Right Discharge Side Guides will be used to be certain that the cards are straight as they are fed and transferred onto the base carrier. This proposal assumes that the customer will install and integrate the feeder. As an option Multifeeder can install and integrate the feeder at our standard rates. Options Available: As an option a Multifeeder Pressure Roller Assembly can be used to provide a pinch point to feed into. The feeder can be mounted onto an optional MFT 350 Straddle Mount Assembly or onto a HDSR 1000-350 Stand on Rollers for height adjustment and mobility. Optional Hard Carcass Discharge Belts cna be used for optimum performacne. An optional APL 2000-350 Automatic Product Loader can be used for increase in feed magazine capacity. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, A Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder Installation.
