Project Scope: Each of the (3) systems would begin with an MFT IP 250ED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder to separate and feed your products from a stack in the in feed hopper of the Multifeeder. As the products are transported through the discharge of the Multifeeder a 2D barcode reading system will read the barcode and verify it matches and is readable. The Multifeeder uses a closed loop system when doing barcode verification to ensure accurate product scans through the system. Each product that is fed receives a good read. If the barcode does not match or is unreadable the system will stop on error. Once the product has been verified it will transfer into a catch tray where the product will be accumulated into batches. Once a batch count is reached an operator would remove the stack of products triggering the feeder to automatically begin feeding the next batch.
