Project Scope: A Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 Industrial Performance “IP” XLD Friction Feeder with 250mm wide 600mm (23.64") long discharge to feed Pharmaceutical Inserts onto a Bobst Folder Gluer machine at a rate of up to 400 per minute with a tolerance of +/- 1/16”. The feeder will separate the pouches onto the feeder discharge. Left and Right Discharge Side Guides will be used to be certain that the pouches are straight as they are fed. The Bobst Machine will feed a base sheet, a glue machine shall apply glue to the base sheet, and the MFT 250 IP XLD Friction Feeder will be signaled to feed a product into the pinch point of a customer supplied top belt assembly onto the spot glued surface by a Tipping Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. Continuous Motion Accutipping controls consist of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. The computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. This feature also allows the operator to place two inserts one after another on a base card. The feeder will be mounted onto a square bar mounting frame that will allow the position of the feeder to be adjusted quickly and easily in the x, y, and z directions. FEDEX 2 Day #238314666
