Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 Industrial Performance “IP” XLD Friction Feeder with 600mm long 250mm wide discharge to feed Pharmaceutical inserts 3" x 7" onto a Bobst Folder Gluer machine at a rate of up to 300 per minute with a tolerance of +/-1/16”. The Bobst Machine will feed a base sheet and the MFT 250 IP XLD Friction Feeder will be signaled to feed Pharmaceutical insert into the pinch point of a Bobst top belt assembly by a Tipping Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. Left and Right Discharge Side guides will be used to be certain that the products are straight as they are fed. The feeder will be equipped with Continuous Motion Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. This feature also allows the operator to place two or more inserts one after another on a base card. The feeder will be mounted onto a square bar mounting frame that will allow the position of the feeder to be adjusted quickly and easily in the x, y, and z directions. Commission Calculation: Discount is split between Multifeeder and Capper McCall: Commission = $ 25,885.00 * .15 - .5 * $ 1,385.00 = $ 3,882.75 - $ 692.50 = $ 3,190.25
